BitLicense の申請コストはいくら？
BitLicense は、その申請に関わるコストの大きさとプライバシーに対する懸念から、結果的に多くのビットコイン関連企業をニューヨークから追い出すことになりました。
また新たなニューヨーク撤退情報です。今後は、クラウドでマイニングを行う Genesis Mining が撤退を表明しました。
ニューヨークを離れるビットコイン関連スタートアップが増えています。運営拠点をニューヨーク外に移すというケースもあれば、サービスの提供エリアからニューヨークを外すというケースもあります。
理由は、BitLicense です。
LocalBitcoin はこの度、ニューヨークでのサービス提供を取りやめました。
ニューヨーク州で、BitLicense による規制が間もなく発動されます。
Bitcoin businesses wanting to continue serving New York residents have approximately 24 hours left to file their BitLicense application.
The deadline, set for 8th August, marks the end of a 45-day grace period following the publication of the BitLicense in the New York State register.
期限は現地時間の8月8日です。

“We had the highest number of new users in a single week,” Andrew Lee, CEO of Purse, said in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine. There were a total of 2,145 new users during the week.
Prime Day の週に、新規ユーザーが2,145人増えたとのことです。前後の比較が無いためどれほどの伸びなのかは不明ですが、CEO は過去最高と発言しています。
Purse.id を平たく言えば、Amazon からビットコインで買い物をしたいユーザーと、Amazon ギフトカードをビットコインに変えたいユーザーとをマッチングするサービスです。その結果、買い物をする人は Amazon でビットコインが使える上に、値引きを受けられるようになっています。
このように非常にマニアックなサービスですが、Prime Day で注目が集まったタイミングで、ユーザーを獲得しています。
All told, Prime Day was a success for Purse. During the week, there were a total of 1,050 total transactions made on the site. On Prime Day itself, approximately $24,000 was spent on the site.
また、Prime Day の1日で、約 $24,000（約300万円）の売上を記録したとのことです。
Purse.io の仕組み
Purse.io は、Amazon でビットコインが使えない問題を解決するサービスです。Purse.io は、ビットコインを使って Amazon で買い物をしたいユーザーと、Amazon ギフトカードをビットコインに変えたいユーザーとの仲介をすることで成り立っています。
ポイントは、ビットコインと Amazon ギフトカードを直接交換しない事です。Amazon ギフトカードを持っている人が、Amazon で買い物をしたい人が指定した商品を代理で購入し、その対価をビットコインで受け取るという仕組みです。
Purse.io は、Amazon の商品に値引きなどの付加価値をつけて、ビットコイン保有者に買い物を促しています。
もはや Facebook の人たちではなくビットコインの人たちになってきた Winklevoss 兄弟が、また前進しました。
Entrepreneurs Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss have filed an application for a limited liability trust company in New York.
The filing for Gemini Trust Company, if approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS), would enable the Winklevoss brothers to launch Gemini, their forthcoming bitcoin exchange product first announced in January.
